The HSE have introduced a new web site entitled Health & Safety made simple. According to its home page, “if you think health and safety has to be complicated - it doesn’t. This site will make it easier for you to comply with the law and manage health and safety in your business.”
It goes on to say “For many businesses, all that’s required is a basic series of tasks. The site will take you through the steps and help you make sure you have done what you need to - and no more.”
Although the site is generally designed for small businesses, it makes a good reference tool to make sure that anyone responsible for health and safety in the workplace has not deviated too far from what is expected.
