Can you imagine how difficult it must be with a Kyphosis to sit at a workstation? Well how about the system pictured to the left.
Sallie Godwin, who has a scoliosis, is pictured demonstrating the workstation her husband, Gary made for her so that she can carry on with her office job. She found it so useful that they named it the FunErgo and patented the design in 2003.
In 2007 they formed a company for the production of the workstation and are now seeking funding to assist with the promotion and development of the company.
There are other reclining workstations on the market but they are expensive. The FunErgo relies on gravity rather than mechanical assistance. Ingress and egress is easy as well.
