Site sponsors

I have four site sponsors and would love to find more. The cost of sponsorship is £150 per year or £15 per month. From last month, the site sponsors appear on all of the main pages for each newsletter just under the list of contents.

The latest addition is Clinical skills Ltd. The publisher of the brand new publication Moving & Handling - an illustrated guide. If you purchase a copy of this book, please do so from this site as I will get a commission if you do so.

Linet are another sponsor who, unusually in the world of safe patient handling, come from the Czech Republic. They have quite an impressive following in the UK. If you go to their download page there are a series of video presentations

regarding their products. I should have these on my M&H TV page. If they are not there when you read this, they will be soon.

Samarit is an international company with the UK branch being owned and ran by Christian Symonds. A face familiar with many who frequent trade shows. He is involved in all sorts of groundbreaking ideas. His current development is a secret which he has promised to let me in on eventually, but at the moment, I am being kept in the dark.

Finally there is Hospital Aids, or Spectrum Healthcare ran by Steve Clark. He is one of the few people out there that hopes his equipment will never be used. Amongst other things, he mainly deals in evacuation equipment. When the now famous fire at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London broke out. Steve’s equipment was put to the test in dramatic style. He is very proud of the fact that as a direct use of his equipment, no-one was lost in that fire.

I am grateful to these sponsors for being around over these last few years but I have a gripe to pick with each of them.
