Gavin Wright (Managing Director) Moving and handling diploma and Emergency Medical Technician. Gavin has worked in the field of emergency care in both the UK and in South Africa.
Dorothy Spencer (Company Secretary) NEBOSH qualified and diploma in moving and handling instruction. Dorothy spent many years in the health service working in the field of Learning Disabilities. She is also an OCR External Moderator.
Bill Wright (Training Director) Moving and handling diploma and Registered Nurse. Bill spent many years within the NHS as well as private healthcare companies. Involved in both pre and post registration education of nurses

Training & Learning for Care Ltd (TLC) was founded in January 1997 to meet the requirements of the moving and handling regulations. Initially targeting the healthcare settings, more recently we have diversified into industry at large.
In 1997, TLC became the first company to offer an accredited course using the Royal College of Nursing™’s continuing education points system. Then in 2000, after a short spell with the Institute of Health Care Development, we also became the first to offer a certificate level course in moving and handling people instruction, which was aimed specifically at the medical professions through OCR (Oxford & Cambridge assessment boards). Further recognition of our expertise in this field came when we became the first to offer a level 4 diploma in this subject matter.
