A lot of people are asking how Bill & Dorothy are getting on since his retirement and her accident.

Bill is enjoying retirement and spending time with Maureen who is recovering from a heart by-pass. Having him around is helpful and they both feel the benefits. I haven’t seen him so relaxed for many years. I mentioned that to someone recently who asked and they said, “You are joking!” When I enquired as to why they said that, the response was that their perspective was that if he was any more relaxed than he was while teaching, he must be pretty floppy by now.

Dorothy has made a good recovery and recently has gone back to working on a part time basis. She still has a good bit of discomfort but it is tolerable. Working freelance and for a variety of organisations, she is mainly doing assessments utilising her D32/33 & 34.

Together, they enjoy flying Deans (Dorothy’s son) aeroplane. Dorothy is learning to fly, Bill on the other hand has been a private pilot for many years.
