The “Guide to the Handling of People - 5th Edition” (HOP5) is widely recognised as being the most useful book available for moving and handling instructors. This and previous editions is the text book used in settling a wide variety of issues regarding the safe moving and handling of people. A sister publication dealing with issues in the community is also available.

For a very brief time (15th January 2009 or when stocks run out) both publications are being offered at a dramatically reduced cost.

If you don’t have either of these publications, now is the time to acquire them. You are not completely equipped in your role as back care advisor, moving and handling instructor or key worker unless you become familiar with these publications.
