The International News reported the first international conference on headaches and back pain in Karachi, Pakistan. The conference was organised by the Pakistan Medical Professionals and claimed the traffic problems of the city have contributed to the rise in headaches and back pain.
They put forward a list of suggestions for the Pakistani government to consider including changing lifestyles and traffic conditions to control the problem. The minister for health said that he was implementing free quality treatment to the people as a priority.
Due to the security problems in Pakistan, this international conference actually had no foreign delegates. To allow the international status, video conferencing was made available.
