Liko have announced that some of their products need modifying to prevent injury or even death. In one case a patient did die as a result of an actuator failiure.
This is correctable by the fitting of an “outerTube”. Liko will contact all who are affected to arrange the fitting, in the meantime, they have designed a test you can do to see if it is safe to leave your hoist in service.
