I was considering the development an online shop for moving and handling products. I sent an e-mail to 400 individuals randomly chosen from my database (of which 70 responded) asking for a couple of minutes of their time to help me with the market research. To say thank you (and to encourage a good response), I gave three places on the online moving and handling instructors refresher course to the 1st, 10th and 20th response received. (worth £85 each).

 

At the time, I was only vaguely aware of another concept which is to be launched later this year. I am bound via a non-disclosure agreement to say nothing else at this moment other than that, now that I am fully aware of this concept, I am unlikely, for the time being, to be going ahead with the online shop. Nevertheless, the information I gathered makes for interesting reading so I am publishing it for you anyway.

The overall feeling was ease of use, security, speed of delivery and wide product range.
