Moving & Handling Newsletter

Issue 2-2

Welcome to the second edition of the second volume of the moving and handling newsletter. This issue, as promised in the last issue is a special edition focusing on obesity. Don’t worry if this is not your area, I am convinced that if you take the time, you will be really glad you did so.

Rather than report the usual stories, I have tried to source useful as well as controversial stories. For instance, who would have thought that exercise won’t cure obesity, or that childhood obesity has been claimed to be a myth. How about growing blood vessels to combat obesity? As usual the stories come from around the globe.

Also, for the month of February only the moving and handling instructors course notes publication has been reduced by a massive 77% to £2.50. Assisting people DVD has also been reduced until the end of Feb by 75%. Click the links to the lower right.

To continue, select any of the stories to the right of this introduction. When you are ready to move on, you will see a continue button                   in the top right of each story. Click this and you will be returned to this page.

Next months newsletter looks like it is going to be a special edition relating to obesity, so if this is your field, keep a look out one month from now.
