Another offer I have for the new year is the moving and handling training for care/nursing staff. The cost was £15 per person last year, with a two week period in which to complete the training. I can now remove the time limit due to my own hosting and no longer having to pay for pay-as-you go bandwidth. I have also been able to reduce the cost to just £8 per person.
The programme was developed with the help of Jacqui Hall, (Senior Lecturer at Northumbria University and co-author of the Guide to the Handling of Patients 4th edition and the Guide to the Handling of People 5th edition) and her 1st, 2nd and 3rd year student nurses.
Northumbria University have been given the programme for their assistance in it's development and will make it available for their all of nursing students who enrol from March 2010. Other educational establishments (private or public) may also be able to benefit from a reduced pricing scheme, please contact me if you are intersted.
For £8 the online training is ideal as a stop gap for new starters until classroom based training can be organised or as a refresher for more experienced carers and nurses. I was promoting an introductory offer available only until 31st December 2009 of only £3 per person. However, many of you didn't get the e-mail regarding this offer until you returned to work today (4th January), so I have decided to extend the offer throughout the month of January.
Your students do not need to complete the training by this time, You can book a block of seats, from 1 to a million, and take as long as you want to use them, so long as they are used in the 2010 year. However, any places booked after January will revert back to the £8 price. This service is without setup fee, contract or minimum order, unless you require your own logos and colours. This would then attract a one off fee of £250.
