Reservations: Reservations can be held by sending a non-refundable deposit of £100. The reservation will be kept until 14 days before commencement of the course when all outstanding monies will be due.
Cancellations: Cancellations made prior to 14 days of the commencement of the course will result in the loss of deposit only. Cancellations after this time will not have any money returned. In the event that Nordic Care Services Ltd cancel a course all monies will be returned. In all cases of cancellation, candidates will be offered placements on future courses.
Lost passwords: Ask for another and I will send it.
Policy: It has always been my policy to treat our customers in exactly in the way I like to be treated. My toes curl at the sight of small print, but it appears that not only to add to my creditability but to comply with new legislation (EC Distance Selling Directive) I am required to offer you my own 'large print' version. You should note that your statutory rights under the current consumer protection laws are not affected (more probably enhanced).
Data & Privacy: The information collected from you at the time you place an order will be stored in my database and will be used to carry out your instructions and action your payment. There are no circumstances under which, this information might be passed to a third party. However, if you are not already on the list of newsletter subscribers, you may be added to that list also. Please feel free to remove yourself from this list if you don’t want the newsletter.
Supply: I undertake to supply you with the goods described in these Web Pages, in the case of online training, within 72 hours of your payment being received (unless you are notified by e-mail, i.e. when I am overseas), or in the case of published materials such as DVDs etc., be dispatched within 72 hours of payment received. Where you have accessed a third party such as Amazon through my web site, please see their T&Cs.
Contact: I will generally only contact you in connection with your purchase if required to do so or in response to your queries. I will keep you well informed should there be any difficulties providing you with the specific goods ordered. I will also contact you via the monthly newsletter and on certain occasions I may contact you regarding assistance with a third party query Your details will not be shared without your consent with any third party.
Delivery: Obviously you the customer recognise that I rely on Royal Mail's postal service (or other suitable carrier for overseas deliveries) to deliver any Cds, DVDs or training packs. If you have not received your goods in within 30 days a replacement will be dispatched - providing the selected goods are available for despatch. In the case of e-learning, delivery is via the course itself. If you have any difficulty in accessing the site, please let me know asap and the problem will be sorted within 72 hours.
Guarantee: In the light of the forgoing you will appreciate I feel confident that I can unequivocally guarantee your total satisfaction with my service. Again you should note that your statutory rights under the current consumer protection laws are not affected (more probably enhanced).
Rentals: Where software is being rented, unless otherwise agreed in writing, the minimum term is for 12 months.
Refunds: Regarding DVDs; in the event of loss, late delivery or dissatisfaction with the product supplied and a replacement is not acceptable, the goods need not be returned (unless required by Royal Mail for their investigations) but a full refund will be sent. Regarding e-learning courses; in the event you are unhappy with the course you may request a full refund within 7 days of enrolment, no questions asked. If initial payment was via Paypal, then the refund will be made back to you via Paypal. If however payment was by cheque, then the refund will be posted to you by cheque within 30 days. My major concern is to maintain a happy relationship with you my customer. Regarding assessed courses, refunds will not be made once assessment has taken place.
Complaints: Any complaints will be handled immediately (not more than 48 hours). However, due to very few incidents I haven’t quite formulated a specific complaints handling policy.
Law and Jurisdiction: Any contract for your purchase from myself is governed by and has to be interpreted under UK Law, and you agree that such contract will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
Final Note: I suppose because I have always enjoyed an open and trusting relationship with my customers, it grieves me to have to write down what has just been mutually understood between us over so many years. In so doing it has somehow denigrated that good old British sense of fair play...... In a nutshell, this all means any concern that you might have regarding security, privacy or complaint in connection with making a purchase from me please feel free to contact me without hesitation.
