Can you remember the old movies (Laurel & Hardy comes to mind) where there is a bed that folds up into the wall to save space. Usually Stan Laurel ends up stuck inside it yelping strange noises. Well, that was what I thought of when I first saw the integralift.
A great Scandinavian innovation
There is no dobting it, when it comes to design, the Scandinavians know a thing or two. Many of the concepts we take for granted have come from that region. Here is another that many will say, “Why did we not think of that”.
It is a hoist that folds away like the old Laurel & Hardy beds to save space. Watch the video via the link below, it is a fantastic idea for aesthetic reasons if nothing else. Just make sure you don’t put your patient in the cupboard when you have finished.
