South West Ambulance Service considered introducing a position of Back care advisor under suggestion from the HSE but have dismissed the idea, instead opting for an in-house approach of training trainers. What is interesting is that the HSE considered issuing an improvement notice over this matter. Maybe suitably qualified trainers and training companies would like to contact them to offer their assistance.
