Anyone fancy a trip to Kuwait? Each month the Health Lecture Series at the Fawzia Sultan Rehabilitation Institute of Kuwait, holds a free lecture. This month (25th November 2008) the lecture is “Spinal injuries”. Seating is limited though so it might be a long wasted trip if you don’t book in advance.
Their site is quite good if you go to the education tab and then click the newspaper articles, there is a list of 47 different conditions, including backpacks and neck pain, cervical disc injuries, driving and back pain, lumbar disc injuries, RSI’s, sacroiliac injuries & scoliosis.
Although these are newspaper articles, they are of quite a high standard of journalism by knowledgeable people. Not tabloid reading and may even help you with providing a source for patients to get information.
