One of the problems with hospital wheelchairs is that they often get stolen. Another is that they take up a huge amount of room. Yet another problem is that when you need one, you cannot find one. Still another is that they look awful. The last point has a purpose, it is that the first is a fact. Make them look awful and difficult to steer, then no-one will want to pinch them.

Staxi has a solution. You know when you go to the supermarket, how do ASDA and Sainsbury’s save space with their trolleys? They stack them together. And to reduce thefts, they ask you to put a coin in which you get back when you return it to its correct place.

Staxi’s solution is similar. But not only do they solve all the problems outlined in the first paragraph, they look good as well. They offer a range of colours including blue, black, pink, yellow, red and even baby blue which I presume is a less mature blue than the other blue...!...

They are easy to get on and off due to the raising arm and they also do a 1000lb model for bariatrics as well.
