Following last months story entitled walks with wheelchairs, I was alerted to another site which was created by a former Scottish occupational therapist, Eva McCracken, who has to deal with the effects of multiple sclerosis.

Prior to being a wheelchair-user, she was a keen walker. Now though, she has spent her time writing a book entitled “Walking on Wheels”. This colour publication outlines about 50 wheelchair friendly walks throughout Scotland.

In order to fund the publication of her book Eva formed the Walking on Wheels Trust. This trust, through profits generated from the sale of the publication, has in turn, been able to offer grants to organisations and charities who comply with the trusts objectives.

This site is worth a look as it is a demonstration of how, so long as you have a passion for your subject, anyone can develop a web site to promote an ideology.
